This practise is very powerful, because you can actually change a bad memory into something that does not bother you anymore. You need to dive into what bothers you. That old situation that comes back into your mind. Something that is useless to think about now, because it is old, and you are safe.

This can be a tough exercise, even tho its "simple" to do. The reason it can be a tough exersice, is because you need to think about that memory, and what happened. And to find your triggers, when od why it comes into your mind. Then, you can do the practise. You get the tools to change it, through the power of visualisation. 

Then you will change that old memory, into something better. It is worth it!

If you find it challenging to visualise, try several times. You will be better, every time you do it. Just relax, and trust your power to visualise. The image will be replaced into something else, but you will still know the truth about what happened.

How this works

When we are triggered our brain send us a visual image. Our thougts and mental image, creates a feeling. Then we act (or dont act) upon something that is old, when we actualle are safeThat is because the subconscios mind dont understand the difference between past, present & future.
We can use the power of visualisation, to change bad and old memories. So when we get triggered again (it can be a sound, scent or a person) the brain will send us a different image. Then you will remain calm, safe and unbothered.
